Sproat Lake - situated in the centre of Vancouver Island.
I am not ashamed to admit that when I came across this piece of Paradise, tears sprung to my eyes at the sheer beauty of the scene.
Unfortunately the zoom lens on my camera was playing up, so the images are not as sharp as I would have liked, but hopefully you will still get a feel for the area.
(the camera is currently being repaired - just in time for my return to the island during February and March, 2017, when it will surely get a good "workout" !)
Am linking up with

Thank you for the joy your photography brings to my life - keep on blogging!

Such a peaceful scene, very beautiful with not a breath of wind to disturb the reflections. Happy Christmas to you.
It looks so peaceful. One of these days I hope to experience a white Christmas. Wishing you a very happy Christmas.
Such a gorgeous and peaceful scene!
I must admit I couldn't see anything wrong with those pictures. However I hope you get your camera fixed for Christmas. Or maybe Santa will bring you a new one?
I can understand your tears. It is a stunning view :) Thanks for sharing.
