Within Comox British Columbia lies Filberg Park, comprising nine acres of landscaped waterfront green space, gardens and heritage buildings. It features 130 varieties of trees, seasonal gardens, and hundreds of rhododendrons. At the heart of the site is the 1930’s heritage lodge, the former home of local pioneers Robert and Florence Filberg.
It was quite a warm day when I came upon it and decided to explore further ....
(perhaps just as well for my waist-line!)
The park is used by the community for weddings, picnics, music events etc. and I can see why - it is a delightful area for gatherings.

Wishing you a Happy Week ~ ^_^
A lovely Park to explore with that magnificent backdrop of snow covered alps. What a pity the Summer Kitchen was closed but I'm sure you found a little coffee stop somewhere nearby.
That park is delightful!
The light through the flower petals is beautiful. Those chainsaw carvers are so clever. Looks a nice place.
