The ever-changing sky painted an extraordinary canvas of swirling colours
Hordes of people were similarly cooling off - families having picnics on the lawns, others strolling at the water's edge, still more playing beach volleyball and some
just walking the dog
Although the wide variety of amazing treats inside this establishment were very tempting,
a delicately flavoured ice-cream did the trick!

Hello beautiful sunset shots. I love the moon and the last shot of the pretty sky with the plane. Happy Skywatching! Enjoy your day and the weekend ahead.
Beautiful soft tones and colours. Stunning photos!
Beautiful crepuscule light over Henley Jetty and yes seeing jet-planes - heading-out to some far flung corner of the world certainly evokes our desire to be up-up and away !
Wonderful.
I'm always amazed at the huge variety of sky colors. I really like the second photo with the orange/pink/yellow hues.
Such lovely shots! The peach tones in the last photo are delightful! Wishing you and yours a joyful Christmas.
Hi Valerie, I followed you here from Skywatch Friday. Superb sunset photos over the beach. The last image of the jet over your back garden is brilliant! Have a great day. Jo
travel bug ? très belles images !
Hi Valerie, Thanks to your kind comment on my blog I just found yours! Wow, sure enjoyed the photos in this post! I am your newest follower. :-) It's hard for me to pick a favorite out of this post (they are all great!) but the first photo (sunset) is wonderful and so is your moon shot ... wow, so sharp and clear. Nice work. Thanks for sharing! Hope you have a fine weekend.
Lovely photos i like the plane shot. Are you back in Oz?
You are an outstanding photographer! I love these shots!
Thank you all for your kind comments (although somewhat embarrassed by your superlative description James! - truly I am simply an enthusiastic amateur). I do enjoy capturing God's handiwork through my camera lens to be shared with others, and there are so many photographic memes which allow us all to share our different parts of the world. So thank you all for your contribution to that process.
