On a last-minute whim just prior to sunset last night,
I grabbed my camera and headed off for the local park (5 minutes away).
Approaching this windmill from the rear it didn't strike me as especially
noteworthy, BUT, as I continued walking and came around to
it's front side, the sun's rays lit up the blades . . .
Linking up with Skywatch Friday
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, wherever you are.

Looks like golden red blades.
Great captures.
How pretty with those golden blades.
Those colors are remarkable indeed. Well done...
The golden hour for photography certainly creates super shots like this one.
A spectacular shot, the use of golden hour light gives amazing results.
Oh I love these shots Valerie. The blades are the colour of outback sand.
Wow, very nice the effect of the orange light on the windmill blades!
Really a beautiful photo!
