En route to Victoria for Christmas and the New Year,
I stopped off in the South Australian country town of Coonalpyn
to admire the extraordinary and amazing artwork on the
town's silos. The paintings are of local children.

What a phenomenally gifted artist! I am sure you will agree his work is outstanding and brings on-going benefit to the small town businesses
as travellers driving between South Australia and Victoria
now stop and spend their dollars rather than continuing their journey.

Here in Oklahoma we have grain silos, most of which are not used any longer and some have some decent art but this is truly outstanding. You are right, such a talented artist.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
Wow! Such amazingly beautiful art work on the silos and great photography!
Happy Weekend to you,

I love public art in unexpected places. Art on silos is new to me and these paintings are beautiful.
What unexpected beauty!
I wonder how they do that. Paintings on the side of buildings seems to be more popular in Australia than they are over here.
Hello, it is a beautiful mural and lovely artwork. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
My-oh-my!! What extraordinary portraits..I would have loved to see the artist at work. Guess you can't have a fear of heights and do that.
These are amazing! Almost like they were printed on the surface somehow. Could you imagine being one of the local kids and seeing your picture up on the silo?
WOW, amazing.
