In earlier postings I referred to the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia as being my favourite "neck of the woods" in this State. Those postings were mainly of Normanville and Carrickalinga which are both situated on the northern side of the Peninsula.
The following shots were taken on the southern side, on Granite Island, which is adjacent to the popular seaside town of Victor Harbor and accessed by walking or riding on the horse-drawn tram across the long bridge.
I particularly enjoy watching and hearing the crashing of waves upon the rocks, regardless of the weather

A spectacular bit of coastline. It looks like the same geological formation as Wilson's Prom in Victoria to me, but I'm probably wrong!
Very pretty shots of the ocean--love the spray coming over the rocks. You have to be "ready" with your camera when that comes! Have a lovely Sunday. Mickie :)
