Seeing double ?? No, not contrived - this was the real scene
Feeling greatly blessed to have been able to spend so much time in this part of the world (Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia in Canada).

Hi Valerie, Those are some really neat photos of the Heron. Great Blue Herons are so majestic. Since March 1 I have been walking around Green Lake in Seattle daily, taking pictures, and posting on my blog. We have a couple of Herons near/around/on Green Lake and I've been lucky to capture some pics a couple of times. Caught one in flight on April 4 ...

Last year when we went to Comox Marina we parked our 24' cruiser between some really big boats. Made us look like a dinghy rather than our ocean going ship. - Margy

That's really good Valerie.The shot of the two Great Blue Herons like that. I guess they might fight over a fish if they were too close to each other.
