Yesteryear

Continuing my country theme of the past week, below is my contribution to
Shadow Shot Sunday 2 - taken in Mintaro
(with thanks to the meme's hosts)

This charming old building clearly shows the town's slate used in its construction, and below is the plaque identifying its original purpose.

Wishing all fellow bloggers a special and safe Sunday.

Great colours in the old stonework. SA has some great old ruins with interesting histories.

Beautiful colours and textures. I wonder if any modern buildings with weather so gracefully and charmingly.

This building was built to last...that is, if the roof had been maintained. Gorgeous stonework!

What an exciting building to photograph. I wonder about the stories places like this could tell.

I love the bones of this old building. It's funny because, like in the U.S., we think of the 1800s as really old, but when in Europe, it seems practically new.
