This sweet Robin seemed unfazed as my hosts and I strolled around the delightful Victorian gardens of Biddulph Grange, a National Trust property near Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, England.
Classic English bird - it surprises me that they were not introduced here. I'm not suggesting we do, but given what else was brought over I still think it's surprising.

That's a beautiful photo of a very familiar garden visitor.
Every time I see an English Robin, I have to fight off a severe attack of birder envy! But I'm also consumed with delight! Thanks for sharing.
how cute and beautiful the little English Robin is compared to our rather large and not really cute robins....
Sweet indeed! Hope to see one in the wild one day.
Great shot of the robin!
They are so cute. Wish we had them here.
This bird looks very cute.
Wish you Happy This Year.
Beautiful name for a bird.
A little jewel in the gardens!
