This mixed group of cattle breeds were just lazing around on a property near Congleton in Cheshire, UK during my visit there this time last year. (I couldn't help but smile at the "bad hair day" look of the highland cattle - or at least I think that's what breed they are!)

A lovely pastoral scene. When cattle lie down like that it's supposed to be a sign of rain. Did it?
I believe it did rain later that day John!
Some beautiful cattle on the hoof there and lovely farmland! I seldom see more than one breed in a pasture. This is really neat.
such contented looking coos
They look really relaxed, nice shot of the cattle.. Have a happy day!
What a beautiful place to chill out with friends.
That's different. Cattle around here tend to be in big open fields without trees.
