My overseas travels earlier this year took me to Holland for a 3 day visit where I met the generous hosts of a house exchange in Italy that would complete my European travels 8 weeks down the track.
As it was 45 years since I last spent time in Holland, it was a delight to see it again through more mature eyes!
(I still find the windmills a pleasing sight)
. . . and the numerous pretty canals
with a nesting swan
and, of course, the many bridges over canals throughout Amsterdam.
Linking up with Our World Tuesday and Outdoor Wednesday
with thanks to the respective hosts

Beautiful pics. What a lovely tour. I felt like I was there! Thanks for sharing. I joined the linky for the first time today. And visiting too. Nice to meet you.
It is a beautiful country to visit. You capture some of the highlights. Next time come farther south down the coast. Gorgeous beaches. xo Jenny
Holland hasn't changed except Amsterdam !
I love the canals and other scenes from Holland too; wow sounds like a super trip coming up in Italy next!
I am reminded of my trip to Amsterdam. Great shots! Love the sights you framed.
Always nice to see my beloved home land
loved to see the windmill and the waterway. :)
