Spotted these little gems early this morning in the Greenfields Wetlands:
(Clockwise from top left: Australasian Grebe, Magpie Lark, Intermediate Egret, a small portion of the spacious wetlands, Purple Swamphen, Red-kneed Dotterel and a Black-winged Stilt)
[Apart from some cropping, these shots are straight-out-of-the-camera and remind me I need to persevere with learning proper camera settings, rather than relying on automatic!]

Beautiful collage of these little feathered wetland characters! Love the reflections!
Excellent shots with terrific reflections.
What a beautiful place for birdwatching. Love that there's a variety of birds you spotted.
relaxing and exquisite
These photos are superb , wonderful relections Valerie. Nothing wrong with camera settings.
Auto settings are great for when you need to be quick on the draw. I'd be ecstatic to see all these different birds. Some are not dissimilar to some of ours but they have different names.
I love the reflections in your photos.
