I was reminded here of a game we played as kids, laying on our backs on the lawn, looking up at the clouds to see what shapes we could make out: this one has me stumped!

The word for finding familiar shapes in the abstract shapes of natural features (e.g. clouds) is pareidolia!
See: http://nicholasjv.blogspot.com/2011/06/pareidolia.html
To me it looks like a rat skeleton head and front half!
Have a Happy New Year, Valerie!
I thought the skeleton head of prehistoric creature!! Happy New Year from Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Ładnie wygląda "dziura w chmurach"

It's a keyhole into the ionosphere!
OK, so what's the word for not being able to find familiar forms in abstract shapes? You've got me beat. Happy New Year!
I see the head of a dinosaur with pearly white teeth on the lower jaw!! Does that make me a pareidol?
It is wonderful and fun all the things we can see in the skies once we begin spending time looking up! Terrific capture for the day! As for me, I see a dragon with a big mouth and bigger teeth! Hmmmm I think I've met a few of those! Wishing you a very Happy New Year!

Compared to others I see something much more ordinary - the head of a set of pliers.
That cloud looks pretty cool!
