A floral feast

Just a small section of Keukenhof Gardens (the world's second-largest flower garden), situated in Lisse, Netherlands.
(I stopped over in Amsterdam en route to the UK last year, to meet the hosts of an exchange property  - located in Italy - that I would be staying in as part of my 8-week adventure. The generous hostess, Lia, gave me a wonderful tour - 45 years have passed since I was last in the Netherlands, so  it was a refreshing experience!)

Oops - I got a bit carried away, but hope you won't mind!!

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend, wherever you may be.

Wow your 8-week adventure is great with all those gardens and photos you accumulated. I had more than a month adventure too last Dec to Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and New Zealand. It is a bit disappointing a i haven't been to big botanical gardens in Australia but i went at least to Auckland Botanical Gardens. I will also be blogging about those flowers in the future posts, as my hands are so full this time, haha!

Absolutely delightful! Did you visit Kew Gardens in London? We are planning to go there later this year when I return to England for the first time in ages!

Absolutely beautiful pictures of beautiful flowers. I went to Keukenhof years ago before I started digital photography. It's a feast for the senses.
