A puzzling plant

This plant was among many blooms to be found in the Keukenhof Gardens during early April.
I have no idea of its name and would be grateful if someone could identify it for me.
Nevertheless, it seems to fit in with the Mandarin Orange Monday theme (Thanks for hosting, Lorik)
and Today's Flowers (Thank you, Denise for hosting)

Hoping you've all had a wonderful weekend.

What wonderfully beautiful blossoms! I googled and found that they might be Orange Crown Imperial or Kaiser's Crown (Fritillaria Imperialis).

I have an idea why this bloom is in the Keukenhof (already for some time) - as you know I'm Dutch - orange is the color of the royal family: the House of Orange. And whenever there are celebrations, etc. (like the worldcup for example) the Dutch wear orange.

I don't know the name, I've not seen such a flower before, but it is lovely.
All the best.

Your flower is gorgeous! I do believe it is the orange crown imperial plant. I've never seen one in person. Thank you so much for sharing.

They're gorgeous! Bettyl is right about the name. I often see this lily in parks here in Finland.

I have a picture just like this that I took at my friend's house. She raised and sold perennials and had this in her front yard. They are every bit as beautiful as they look in your picture. I had forgotten the name, but as soon as I read it in one of your comments, I remembered. Beautiful and you are right, perfect for MOM.

they are stunning blooms. And fun to play around with artistically. :)

Lovely flower, I like the way the flowers hang down under the green crown. I planted some but only had them return one year, they seem very particular in growing requirements. The related checkered Fritillaries are hopefully going to keep growing for me. Interesting to learn of the House of Orange and Dutch royalty.
