I seem to have missed lots of your excellent photos lately so I've just been catching up. I was particularly impressed by "Australia". Like you I also love wandering around old churches. As for the jetty it looks pretty good in B/W, doesn't it?
Thanks for your visit and comments, John. Yes, I too felt the B&W had an appeal of its own; I also was tempted to show the scene in sepia, but thought that posting 3 versions of the same subject might be pushing the boundaries somewhat! Happy weekend.
Excellent image, lead in from the left draws you in, the figures on the Pier makes you want to know "what ate they thinking about?" good all round composition Valerie.

Transforms it into a vison of mystery doesn't it? i like the effect, now of the fog at the end, when i cannot see that it is really just smog.
