Taken in late September on the banks of Adelaide's River Torrens, where locals and visitors were enjoying using the paddle boats, watching the ducks and black swans, gently cycling along the paths, appreciating an ice-cream or a cappucino and others simply lounging around on the grassy banks relaxing.

I had to smile. I do not spend much time at all simply appreciating either an ice-cream or a cappucino!! whoosh they are gone.
This is a particularly good reflection you have for us today, Valerie. I think the overhanging branch somehow seems to slow the river down and focus my brain on the sheer beauty in front of me.
Lovely post to read this early in the morning.
Ah, Spring... that's what I need!
The water is so still! Ideal for reflections! A romantic mystery in this photo!
A beautiful, complex image, Valerie that works well for me. Have a good weekend.
Ice cream every time! A lovely, gentle and subtle image.
