Last year a friend visiting from the UK was thrilled to be able to get so close to some of our kangaroos, when we took him to Gorge Wildlife Park in the Adelaide hills.
And here a female 'roo is reaching for some food, revealing the cute joey in her pouch.
... and of course, here's another Australian "icon" - the much loved Koala Bear
while our rather elegant Pelican is on the lookout for food
. . . perhaps as these Crocodiles are !!
(don't be fooled by that "friendly" grin they're displaying!)

Stunning images, although i think those crocs are totally stunning, i guess the joey is pretty cute too.
Fab photos...
A great capture of the Joey in the pouch Val ...... I wouldn't want to get up too close and personal with those grinning crocs !
Hi Valerie. I would be tickled seeing these kangaroos too. Especially the little one in the pouch. And the Koala is just adorable. The crocs would spook me, they look scary. Wonderful photos, thanks for sharing your world.
Greta shots, Valerie. Love the crocs!
OH, what delightful captures!
A very good post for our coming Australia Day. Love the joey in the pouch shot.

Nature Jotter: Thank you Barbara for visiting my blog and for your kind comments. I look forward to seeing more of your stunning images of Italy.
Podobają mi się kangury, a misie koala uwielbiam . Krokodyle lepiej omijać. Ciekawy park . Pozdrawiam. *** I like kangaroos and koala bears love. Crocodiles better avoid. An interesting park. Yours.
