Wines, vines and geese !

These pictures were taken at another favourite Fleurieu Peninsula town - McLaren Vale,
an internationally recognised wine growing region
(and a "MUST visit" when you come to South Australia!).
The geese were quite tame and didn't budge as I walked up closer to take pictures.

I love your cute geese. Lovely photos of the vines. Did they have wine tastings too? Have a great day!

The thick twisted vines are amazing.

Eileen - funny you should ask; yes, we did participate in the wine tasting and, somewhat predictably, came away with some of the offerings!
McLaren Vale has 65 wine cellar doors (for tasting and sales) and is most noted in the wine world for its Shiraz, with some wineries producing up to four varieties. But it also excels in the production of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
O oh . . . I can feel another revisit coming on !!! Have a great weekend.
