Cute & Pretty

The cute calf above I spotted during the recent brief holiday to the Fleurieu Peninsula
(and taken with my Nikon P510)

while the butterfly was on the grass of a local oval where I take Jessie for her exercise
(and was taken with my smartphone - hence the lack of sharpness)

Sharing both creatures with Camera Critters

and wishing you all a wonderful weekend

Delicate wings

This was another creature encountered during my Victorian holiday -
its actual size was about 2 inches (4.5cm). Despite its bulky body, those gossamer-like wings obviously carried it on its journeys.
Can anyone help out with its identification please?

I spy . . .

Spent a delightful few hours early yesterday morning with my photography buddy in Adelaide's Botanic Gardens. The capture above was one of many feasts for the eyes.
