These captivating blooms (Lisianthus, I think) were found in Mt Eliza, during last month's visit to the Mornington Peninsula and were spotted as I attempted to walk off the gastronomic treat I'd enjoyed at the Village Pantry there!

Across the Bay
These views are of Melbourne CBD across Port Philip Bay from the Mornington Peninsula.

(that's wind roughing up the water's surface in the foreground, not a mass of seaweed - in case you were wondering!)

Scot's Church
The following images are of The Scot's Church, the first Presbyterian church in Victoria, Australia, founded in 1838.
It is located at the corner of Collins and Russell Streets in Melbourne
and I so much appreciate its architectural beauty.
Here, its steeple is reaching toward the heavens.
(I've been trying unsuccessfully for some weeks now to link up with
Our World Tuesday again - would greatly appreciate it if someone could contact me by email to explain where I'm going wrong)

Flinders St Station
Flinders Street Station, Melbourne, reflected in a window at the top of the station steps coming up from the platforms. (and no, they are not UFOs in the sky, just downlights from inside the building!).

Crowne Plaza Hotel complex - Melbourne
This is another shot taken within the Crowne Plaza where the spectacular light, sound and water show depicting the four seasons is displayed. On the right hand side wall of this shot you can see images of palm fronds (see weekend reflections and below for others)

Crowne Plaza complex in Melbourne
This is part of a daily spectacular light, sound & water feature show within the complex which depicts the four seasons. This is just one of the walls on which images are displayed and one of several "fountains" from which differing spouts of water emerge. Captivating!

Scenic Sunday - Melbourne
Viewing the streets and buildings of Melbourne's CBD - from another era - and oblivious to the hustle and bustle of today's traffic and trams.

Weekend Reflections - Melbourne
This is the interior of a rather grand hotel in the CBD of Melbourne - this design somewhat took my breath away!
