These colourful Hollyhocks provided a charming welcome to our next stop in Mintaro
- for a scrumptious lunch of Pumpkin Soup with Chorizo!

Hollyhocks remind me of my Grandmother's garden. She had them with hydrangeas and tended them carefully. The bees do like their pollen!

lovely soft paper-thin wispy petals - the perfect spot for those busy-bees to take their daily fix of nectar.

Hello!:) I just love Hollyhocks, they look great at the back of borders to give hight, and your images of these beautiful flowers are stunning. That soup is a typical Portuguese soup,:) and it is so tasty.

I love your images of the Hollyhocks - they make me dream of the summer to come, and cottage gardens filled with them along with roses around the door.
