On a rare "grey" day last winter, my rambles brought me into a grove of many Acacia trees which brought some sunshine to the day. (I believe these plants are referred to as Mimosa in the northern hemisphere)

Yes we call this mimosa and it is one of the first signs of spring in Italy, featuring on two of my blogs recently.
