Waiting for business

These colourful beach umbrellas with acompanying tables, chairs or sunbeds, were "at the ready" for an influx of beachside visitors to Fano on the east cost of Central Italy back in May.
(The fellow basking on the rocks obviously likes a more rugged approach to his coastal outing!)

A thoughtful touch! .... not far from the shore were these equally colourful private changerooms
and the whole area was kept beautifully clean.
(In the foreground there appears to be a dance floor set up perhaps for evening entertainment - now that's a beach holiday with style!)

With appreciation, am linking up to

Certainly lots of colourful characters beachside. So many umbrellas suggest that a lot of people are expected.

Sure is the European way of enjoying the beach. It is colourful and neat. The chairs and umbrellas are usually for guests of the nearby hotel and the beach is usually owned by the hotel and the public can't use it. I found that all a bit restrictive of enjoying the natural environment. But it does make pretty pictures.

Closed and colorful umbrellas create wonderful patterns.

I'm sort of with the fellow that wants to "rough it" a bit but have to admit, they've thought of everything. Great blues too!
