This was one of several cute turtles capturing our attention and that of fellow diners at the amazing Maggie Beer's property in the Barossa Valley today.
Oh I have seen her place on TV and I would love to visit. Must try to do that if ever I am in SA again. The water is so clear and the turtles are easy to see. In our local lake I only see their heads pop out of the murky water.

Do they come out from the lake? The water seems so clear and clean, i also want to waddle in it.

Kalantikan: I don't know for sure, but I imagine the turtles spend most of their time in the water.
