As the sun sank slowly into the West . . .

This was last night's sun setting over Adelaide in South Australia.
It was a perfect evening - barely a breath of wind with temperatures in
the mid 20's (centigrade) and the scene was set for a couple of hours' fun experimenting
with night photography.  (Have to confess I'm still learning about the features of my relatively new camera and this shot was taken using the Night Landscape option -
about an hour later I discovered there is a Dusk/Dawn feature available!
What's the saying..?  "Tradesman, know thy tools" !

We learn from experimenting. :)
Great capture.

Beautiful sky and weather. What a contrast to the rains and strong winds we are experiencing now brought about typhoon Pedring. Wonderful capture.

Gorgeous shot, I love sunsets, one had me running down the village road tonight to get some shots, if I had to buy film I'd be bankrupt..!

What kind of camera do you have?

Great sunset, on the eastern side of the range we got hardly any colour at all.

Hi Jackie - Know what you mean about the (past) cost of films; thankfully that limitation on our enthusiasm is no longer relevant!
My new camera is a Konica Coolpix S2500.
