Stonewall Fences

Some stonewall fences near Ayeside just south of Windemere in England's Lake District

. . . and this swan was showing off it's beautiful plumage as the keen breeze ruffled it's feathers

  1. Beautiful swan! And I love the stone walls! You should link up to Good Fences also, a Thursday meme hosted by Theresa at RunAroundRanch Report. You can find her on my sidebar.

  8. Girl Friday: As part of an 8 week holiday in April-May last year, incorporating 3 house exchanges in the UK, Brittany and Italy, I spent 4 weeks in England. It was a greatly blessed trip, catching up with friends not seen for 40 years, making new friends and exploring more of the various countries' countrysides. (Thank you for dropping by my blog - have not had success in returning the compliment!)
