St Sampson's, Cornwall, UK


After a gap of some 40 years, I revisited the UK in 2009 for 6 weeks. It was wonderful to renew friendships and be shown charming sights (& sites) such as St Sampson's in Golant, Cornwall. The ceiling I found particularly fascinating and the stained glass window above the altar is beautiful .

    What a lovely church with one awesome ceiling. I have never seen one like it. Your capture of the image is perfection. You make me feel like I am there right now instead of looking at a picture on my computer screen. A lovely post. genie
