More wildlife!

Well it was another delightful surprise encounter with an Australian native icon - the koala - last week while out walking in suburban Wynn Vale.  This one appeared to be fairly young and was by far the most active and alert koala I've seen in a long while ...  made my day!

    I've seen them in zoos and a few in the wild when I visited Australia. That's the first one I've seen with its eyes open!
