Tweedsmuir

One exciting adventure during the trip to British Columbia was a drive up through Whistler to Williams Lake and across to Tweedsmuir Park.
My friend and host was keen to show me the grizzly bears catching salmon at
Bella Coola out west (which she had experienced a few weeks earlier), but within about 30kms of that location it began snowing as we entered the Heckman Pass. Snow tyres didn't offer the required safety connection with the road as snow chains (which we didn't have), so sadly we had to abort our trip.  But what thrilling scenery along the way!

These shots were taken 5 weeks ago - Christmas came early !!

The outside temperature a bit earlier - according to the car's reading - was 0 degrees C.

Sharing another adventure with Our World Tuesday
(and once again a big thank you to the hosts who enable us to participate)

  1. Beautiful scenery and I'm glad your friend was smart enough to know when the driving conditions were getting too much for the tires.
