Enroute to the UK last year, I stopped off in the Netherlands for a couple of days and was generously treated to a visit to the Keukenhof Gardens -
a showcase of glorious blooms covering some 30+ hectares (with a few feathered friends and others). Following is a small sample of its offerings -
A Mandarin Duck
( For some reason I am unable to enlarge these images within Blogger, but hope you will still be able to get a feel for the environment there!)

ReplyDeleteI've never been to Holland Valerie but I know of its reputation for flowers. And of course the famous artists who featured flowers.

ReplyDeleteLove the duck and bunny! I had a mandarin duck in my backyard earlier this year. I'll be sharing photos of him in the next couple of posts.
ReplyDeleteA great place - and nice photos, also of duck and rabbit.

These are wonderful finds! The bunny looks so cuddly! The other photos are awesome scenes.
ReplyDeleteI love the color of that rabbit. If only in my few visits to temperate countries i had enough time, visiting gardens is surely my top wish, however it is not like that all the time. At least in New Zealand i was able to visit a few gardens.
