This shot comes out of my archives! It features the Carillon on the edge of Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, and was taken in 1970 (probably with a Kodak Instamatic!!)
Thanks so much for taking time to visit and comment on my site - I really appreciate it. As much as possible I will return the courtesy by visiting your blog.
I like the city but not the weather
ReplyDeleteI visit Australia a lot, but have yet to visit Canberra.
ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to be there with time enough to stop and enjoy when they were practising.
ReplyDeleteYou've captured a great sky to go with the whole scene.
Nothing wrong with that shot. I loved the Kodak Instamatic.
ReplyDeleteSuperb capture.

ReplyDeleteAh! The good old instamatic - I had a few of those. Yours seems to have fulfilled its function with style.
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful shot for an old camera.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty sky, the clouds are beautiful. Great shot from your old camera.. Happy Skywatching!
ReplyDeleteI love this vintage photo share!! That's awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe Instamatic captured the clouds extremely well!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cloud and sky shot! Doesn't matter the camera (read several places) it is if you have the 'eye' ~ You obviously do!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday to you,
