A hint of warmth

~ Non-breeding Intermediate Egret ~

As we in the southern hemisphere are experiencing (for us) a cold Winter,
it seemed appropriate to post an image taken in the midst of last Summer.
Taken early morning in the Greenfield Wetlands, on a day
when temperatures reached the 40's (C).

Linking up with monday mellow yellows

  1. It's 3C here in Perth this morning (7.30am) so it's lovely to see this summer image Valerie :)

  3. The egret is posing so elegantly, as if surveying his domain. Beautiful scene!

  4. Valerie, I like to go spotting the egrets here near my home too!

  5. Lovely phptp. I must say I much prefer a winter day over a summer one in the low 40s. I wilt at 34...and we had five of those last week.
