Dots of sunshine

On a somewhat gloomy day (weatherwise) mid-Winter last year, these cheerful Wattle flowers brightened my walk and their fragrance was quite "heady".

    Yellow seems to be the colour of the oncoming Spring. I love the yellow of the crocuses as they push through the snow and then the yellow of the forsythia, then we have the yellow daffodils and I know summer won't be too far away.
