Bourton-on-the-Water

What a gorgeous spot is Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds, England.
It was quite a hot day when we visited in May 2009 and toddlers were paddling in the shallow River Windrush. Happy memories!

  1. Bourton-on-the-water is afabulous place to visit. Did you do the 'romantic drive' which takes you on a circular route through the most picturesque of the Cotswold villages?

  3. Fun60: Thanks for visiting my blog. No, we didn't do that drive as we had our own car, but I bet it's a real treat for those who do. We did, however, enjoy a few days' stay at the nearby - and quaint - Lamb Inn, in the gorgeous village of Upper Rissington. Wishing you a great week.

  9. Looks so serene! I would love to be paddling myself, if the weather ever warms up! We are right around the freezing point, with rain...
