On a friend's property just prior to Christmas, this scene just screamed out "Australia" to me. With the windmill, concrete rainwater tank and watering trough and, of course, all those wonderful gum trees - all that's missing are the sheep and cows - they were in the paddock behind me!
This is my contribution to Skywatch Friday. Have a great weekend.

I love how you have kept the colouration in the sky without the expense of losing colour in the foreground...... and that windmill is just the best, it screams countryside...
ReplyDeleteI can't quite tell - and I am rubbish at tree identification - but I like the variety of trees lining the hilltop.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! And I like your header shot also.
ReplyDeleteAs you say Val very rural Australia with those beautiful clear blue skies. A great capture.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful pastoral scene. Love the windmill--we have plenty of those here in Kansas. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteIt does indeed scream Australia!
ReplyDeleteIt is a fantastic image and I can see this on a post card with "Come To Beautiful Australia" on the top.
ReplyDeleteOh yes it is a very Aussie landscape, thanks for your kind comments
