Clouds & Games

I was reminded here of a game we played as kids, laying on our backs on the lawn, looking up at the clouds to see what shapes we could make out: this one has me stumped!

  1. The word for finding familiar shapes in the abstract shapes of natural features (e.g. clouds) is pareidolia!

    See: http://nicholasjv.blogspot.com/2011/06/pareidolia.html

To me it looks like a rat skeleton head and front half!

Have a Happy New Year, Valerie!

  7. It is wonderful and fun all the things we can see in the skies once we begin spending time looking up! Terrific capture for the day! As for me, I see a dragon with a big mouth and bigger teeth! Hmmmm I think I've met a few of those! Wishing you a very Happy New Year!
