I love misty waterfalls, we have been chasing waterfalls too! But the mists in ours are not because of the cold fog but because of the water impact on the surfaces. BTW, i love your header since wisteria is a favorite flower but am afraid to grow here it might get so invasive.
Those falls have always looked different every time I've seen them. Once it was just a trickle and once it was a thunderous . giant cascade of muddy storm water.
